INTEGRITY: Integrity is what a person believes to be right and proper.
It includes values such as 

  • honesty, reliability and fairness.
  • Ethical issues involves questions of right and wrong not merely what brings profit
  • Self-interest versus the need of others
  • Business integrity is therefore the reliability with which the business transactions and the relationship that it promotes with all parties with which it interacts

  • Respecting customers
  • Valuing labour or employees
  • Social Responsibility
  • Government Laws and Regulation(find out what concerns your business and company)
  • Being committed to loans repayment
SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS INTEGRITY

The following seven (7) principles of business integrity are the basis of integrity and a good starting off place to consider. By integrating each of these principles within a business environment, the result will be nothing short of major rebirth of the enterprise.

  1. Recognize that customer want to do business with a company they can trust. Trust is defined as the assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of a business.
  2. For continuous improvement of a business, the leader must be willing to open up to ideas for betterment, ask for opinion and feedbacks from both customers and members.
  3. Do what you can to reclaim any lost business by honoring all commitments and obligations.
  4. Reevaluate all print materials including small business advertisement, brochures and other business documents making sure they are clear, precise and professional.
  5. Remain involved in community related issues and activities thereby demonstrating that your business is a responsible community contributor.
  6. Take a hand on approach with regard to accounting and record keeping, not only as a means of getting a better feel for the progress of your business, but as a resource for any questionable activity.
  7. Be Respectful: Treat others with the utmost of respect. Regardless of difference, position, title, age, or other types of distinctions, always treat others with professional respect and courtesy.
